The A8-3870K and A6-3670K are unlocked APUs from AMD which allows easy overclocking for improved performance over base speeds. Expected to come in at a similar price to the current A8-3850 and A6-3650, which are expected to drop in price after launch respectively. The unlocked APUs will ship with a 100MHz boost over their stablemates, A8-3870K @ 3GHZ with and the A6-3670K @ 2.7GHz while sharing their predecessors GPU, A8 with the HD 6550D and the A6 with the HD 6530D.
