According to one source, we could be seeing the first of AMD's Bulldozer based 'Zambezi' CPUs come the second week of June. The new processors will come in 8-core, 6-core and 4-core variants, all sporting the 'FX' branding. The 8-core is reported to be 50% faster than Core i7 and Phenom II X6.
This isn't a real retail box. See if you can count the errors!
Even better news for current AMD users is that it looks as though these chips will be compatible with many AMD 8-series chipset motherboards. ASUS have confirmed that a selection of their boards will receive a BIOS update to allow compatibility.
