Just a few days after COMPUTEX where AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su presented a keynote along with AMD’s latest products including the third-generation Ryzen processors, EPYC Rome processors, and AMD Radeon RX 5000 GPUs, AMD now introduces the new AMD Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs based on the second-generation Vega architecture. The Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs will be powering the all-new Mac Pro. The AMD Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs are built on the industry-leading 7nm process technology and ultra-fast High Bandwidth Memory (HBM2).

The AMD Radeon Pro Vega II graphics deliver ground-breaking levels of graphics performance for computation-intensive applications including video effects, rendering, 8K video and other high-end content creation workloads. The new AMD Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs also feature the AMD Infinity Fabric Link GPU interconnect technology that significantly improves data-transfer speeds between GPUs. With this technology, the Radeon Pro Vega II delivers up to 14 TFLOPS of single-precision floating-point (FP32) performance and up to 28 TFLOPS of half-precision floating-point (FP16) performance. The AMD Radeon Pro Vega II GPUs are currently offered in two models: the Radeon Pro Vega II with a single GPU and the Radeon Pro Vega II Duo, the world’s first 7nm dual-GPU graphics card designed for professional content creation.
