Time to elect UK’s esports stars
According to the analyst Newzoo, the UK esports market ranks 5th in the world with 32.4m gamers and over $4bn in games revenue. This summer, on Saturday, 7 July 2018, the UK’s first ever UK Esports Awards 2018 will take place in Leicester.
Granting awards in 16 categories, this spectacular event will celebrate the esports scene in the UK in multiple ways. The award categories include not only gamers, esports team and managers but also casters, streamers, tournament organisers, backstage personalities and includes “Memes and Dreams” category for “Banter Of The Year” and “Wooden Spoon Award” as well.
