At Gamescom 2018, AOC reveals its third-generation AGON gaming monitors. The AOC AGON 3 Series gaming monitors sport the sleek and futuristic award-winning design along with the addition of the latest audio and visual technology including FreeSync 2 HDR and VESA DisplayHDR 400. AOC presents two curved 27-inch gaming monitors under the AGON 3 Series – the AG273QCX with FreeSync 2 HDR support and the AG273QCG with G-SYNC support.

Reimagined and Revamped


The AOC AGON 3 Series gaming monitors feature a new design with an aggressive 1800R curvature and a unique 3-sided-frameless design. The AGON 3 Series monitors are specially designed for LAN parties with its one-click mechanism for easy assembly and a built-in carrying handle on its stand. The AGON 3 gaming monitors also feature RGB lighting, the AGON Game Lights. The AGON 3 gaming monitors also come with a redesigned controller, the AGON Game Pad, for on-the-fly tweaking. A headset holder can also be found on the side of the monitor to conveniently store your gaming headset.

Upgraded with Latest Technologies


The AOC AGON 3 AG273QCG and AG273QCX monitors are packed with the latest technologies to improved gaming experiences. The AGON 3 AG273QCX is a 27-inch curved monitor with a VA panel in native QHD (2560x1440) resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 4 ms GtG / 1 ms MPRT and a wide colour gamut of 90% DCI-P3 coverage. The AGON 3 AG273QCX supports the PC-VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard offering 400 cd/m2 maximum brightness and brings high dynamic range content for realistic and immersive gaming. It also supports Radeon Freesync 2 HDR technology that preserves HDR image quality, while avoiding inefficient tone mapping and preserving the low latency. On the other hand, the AGON 3 AG273QCG is also a 27-inch curved monitor with a TN panel in native QHD (2560x1440) resolution, an even higher 165 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GtG response time, 400 cd/mē brightness and NVIDIA G-SYNC support.

Being gaming monitors, the AOC AGON 3 Series monitors are packed with game-enhancing features including the AOC Dial Point, AOC Game Colour, QuickSwitch Controller and others. To protect gamers, the AGON 3 monitors also come with comfort and eye-protection such as the Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Light mode.

Pricing and Availability
No information regarding the pricing of both monitors. The AOC AGON AG273QCG G-SYNC monitor is expected to be available in Europe starting November 2018. The AOC AGON AG273QCX Freesync 2 HDR monitor is expected to be available starting December 2018.
