The AORUS THUNDER K7 with detachable numberpad

18.03.2016 - AORUS.com - With the popular AORUS THUNDER K7 Mechanical Keyboard being awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2015, AORUS has now launched its 10-keyless version counterpart, the AORUS THUNDER K3 Tournament Edition Mechanical Keyboard. Both the THUNDER K7 and K3 utilize Cherry™ RED mechanical switches, and are now available with orange backlighting.

AORUS THUNDER K7

Mechanical Keyboard + Macro Keypad

Designed for hardcore gamers, The AORUS THUNDER K7 has the world's first detachable mechanical gaming keypad. The detachable pad works not only as the number pad but also as gaming macro keys, with all 20 keys customizable for macros or shortcuts. Gamers can choose to use it as a standalone macro pad, or switch to whichever side based on personal preference. The 80/20 design and the full-sized wrist wrest are magnetically connected for easy snap on, and off. The intuitive wheel controllers provide hassle-free adjustments for volume and backlight brightness during intense battles. The superior Cherry™ RED mechanical switches provide superior feedback and actuation force, and together with the Anti-Ghosting Matrix design, the Thunder K7 brings domination to the competition, making sure your every action counts.

AORUS THUNDER K3

Classic Mechanical Keyboard in Tournament Edition

Built on the success of the THUNDER K7, AORUS now reveals its 10-keyless tournament edition THUNDER K3 keyboard. Targeting specifically for the competitive eSports gamers, The THUNDER K3 retains a short body with 80% layout, removing the 10-key number/macro pad that’s often ignored during tournaments. This not only allows for even better ergonomics, but is also more compact to travel with. The cotton braided cord has also been reinforced to ensure to withstand any heavy duty usage during competitions.
