ARCTIC launches the MX Authenticity Check on its website to confirm the authenticity of ARCTIC MX thermal pastes.
Thermal paste plays a central role in any PC build that relies on effective cooling, as it ensures optimal heat transfer from the processor to the heat sink. ARCTIC's MX pastes have been market leaders for almost two decades and are among the most popular and best-selling pastes worldwide. As counterfeits become increasingly prevalent, ARCTIC has developed a system to verify the authenticity of its MX pastes.
A partially concealed QR code is located on the packaging of the MX thermal paste. It must be completely scratched off and then scanned. The scanned URL should lead to x.arctic.de — this is the only way to confirm the authenticity of the paste.
Note: If the QR code is not present, is already fully visible, cannot be scanned or the URL leads to another page, it is most likely not an original ARCTIC paste.
