Asrock announces support for next generation Intel Core Processors for the DeskMini 110 barebones and H110 Mini-STX motherboard. The H110 chipset is the mainboard chipset that supports the next generation Intel Core processors. To include support for the next gen processors, simply do a BIOS update after the P1.40 version for the Asrock H110-STX motherboard.
The Asrock DeskMini 110 barebone series and the Asrock H110-STX motherboard are the first models available that belong to the Mini Socket Technology Extended (mini-STX) form factor, the smallest when it comes to non-embedded solutions. Both supports the Intel LGA 1151 socket processors. Aside from the comprehensive and valuable configuration options, the Asrock H110 mini-STX series also promises improvements in every possible computing features when available. Asrock is also pleased to announce that the Asrock H110 mini-STX series are compatible with the fastest PCIe Gen3 X4 NVMe M.2 SSDs such as the latest Intel 600p series M.2 SSDs and the more popular Samsung 950 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD series.
