ASRock introduces its next-generation DeskMini mini desktop PC at COMPUTEX 2018, the DeskMini GTX/RX (Z370), featuring a new Micro STX platform that’s small than the previously introduced Mini STX platform. Even with the smaller and more compact form factor, the DeskMini GTX/RX can sport up either a VR-ready GeForce GTX 1080 8G graphics or GeForce GTX 1060 6G graphics. Aside from the high-performance gaming-grade graphics card, the DeskMini GTX/RX supports dual DDR4-2666 (DDR4-3200+ OC) SO-DIMMs of up to 32GB and up to three Ultra M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 slots that support high-speed PCIe solid-state drives.
The new DeskMini GTX/RX (Z370) is only 2.6 litre in size making it the tiniest high-performance mini gaming desktop in the market today. The new ASRock Z370M-STX MXM Motherboard is two inches shorter than the ASRock mini STX motherboards. The Intel Z370 chipset supports up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8700K processor. For convenient and accessible high-speed connectivity, the DeskMini GTX/RX is equipped with a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port and Type-A port on its front I/O. For storage, the ASRock DeskMini GTX/RX has two SATA 6G connectors for 2.5-inch drives. It also comes with a built-in 220W power supply unit.
The DeskMini GTX/RX is currently offered in two variants, the DeskMini GTX1060 (Z370) with a GeForce GTX 1060 6G and the DeskMini GTX1080 (Z370) with a GeForce GTX 1080 8G graphics, both packed with the new ASRock Z370M-STX MXM Motherboard. A GTX 1070 version and Radeon-powered versions are hinted to be coming soon. For more information, visit the ASRock DeskMini GTX/RX (Z370) product page.
