ASUS today announced a major update to the ASUS DisplayWidget Center monitor management software, providing users with a more intuitive way to control compatible ASUS and ROG displays. This latest release adds AI-based automation, deeper personalization with App Tweaker and OLED Care, and broader device integration — all while keeping monitor management simple with a mouse or keyboard instead of physical monitor buttons. Available as a free download from the ASUS website, DisplayWidget Center supports Windows 11 or later and MacOS on compatible devices. Additional improvements include a firmware update notification feature and one-key product registration that automatically fills in the device serial number.

AI Agent-Ready Display Control
The latest version of ASUS DisplayWidget Center brings AI agent support through the ASUS Display Control Command Line Interface (CLI) and Agent Skill. Compatible AI agents can adjust monitor settings using natural language, allowing users to change brightness, colour mode, colour temperature and OLED Anti-Flicker without navigating on-screen menus.

A single command can apply settings across multiple compatible ASUS monitors. For gamers, the AI agent can recommend an ideal refresh rate, FPS display, OLED Anti-Flicker and preferred brightness based on previous usage. It can also switch display profiles automatically by checking a user's calendar, such as applying a brighter daytime profile and a warmer, lower-brightness profile for evening use.

The CLI processes monitor commands locally on the workstation, while the AI agent converts user requests into supported actions. In business environments, the CLI can also be deployed through endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune to manage settings across multiple displays.

New AI-Powered Features
DisplayWidget Center also introduces two new AI-powered tools. AI Visual, available on compatible ROG and TUF Gaming monitors, analyses on-screen content in real time and automatically selects the most suitable display mode. AI Assistant supports both voice and text input, enabling users to adjust settings, access FAQs and receive help with monitor functions through a single interface.

Personalised Viewing Experiences Through App Tweaker and OLED Care
The updated App Tweaker feature allows users to create customised display profiles for individual applications. DisplayWidget Center automatically switches image and colour settings based on the active application, reducing manual adjustments and providing a smoother experience between different tasks.

OLED Care also includes features such as Boundary Detection, Outer Dimming Control, Global Dimming Control and Pixel Cleaning to help minimise image retention and improve long-term panel health. Users can manage these functions, as well as pixel-cleaning reminders and activation, directly within the software.

Tailored for Gaming, Creative Tasks, and Daily Productivity
The ASUS DisplayWidget Center adds features designed for gaming, content creation, business and everyday use. Gamers can launch GamePlus directly from the software and access the OSD menu using keyboard shortcuts or supported controllers instead of monitor buttons.

For creators, ColorSync keeps colours consistent across multiple identical displays, while MacBook Brightness Control allows compatible macOS users to adjust monitor brightness using familiar laptop keys. ZenScreen monitors also support Auto Rotation, automatically switching between portrait and landscape orientations.

Business users benefit from Eye Care features including Blue Light Filter, Colour Augmentation and Rest Reminder, while multi-display management and keyboard shortcuts help improve daily productivity.

End-to-End Coverage Across the ASUS Display Ecosystem
The ASUS DisplayWidget Center now supports more than monitor controls. Users can configure virtual displays and spatial screen layouts on ROG XREAL R1 Gaming AR Glasses, as well as manage function keys and launch colour calibration for the ProArt CaliContrO MCA02 calibrator from the same application. This expanded integration makes DisplayWidget Center a centralised management platform across the ASUS display ecosystem.
