ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced two new additions to its gaming monitor lineup – the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS ultrawide OLED gaming monitor and the ROG Strix XG129C secondary touchscreen display. The new products are designed to cater to gamers and streamers looking for immersive visuals alongside improved multitasking functionality.

The ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS targets enthusiasts seeking high refresh rates and premium OLED image quality, while the compact ROG Strix XG129C serves as a secondary display for monitoring, streaming controls, and productivity tasks.

ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS Ultrawide Gaming Monitor
The ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS features a 34-inch 1800R curved RGB Tandem QD-OLED panel with a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 280Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms GTG response time. ASUS also integrates RGB Stripe Pixel technology to improve text sharpness and colour accuracy. ASUS equips the display with BlackShield Film technology, increasing perceived black levels by up to 40% while improving panel scratch resistance by 2.5 times compared to previous-generation QD-OLED panels.

The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified and supports 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage with true 10-bit colour output, making it suitable for both gaming and colour-sensitive creative workloads. To minimise OLED burn-in, ASUS includes OLED Care Pro technology alongside a Neo Proximity Sensor that automatically switches the display to a black screen when the user is away. The ASUS DisplayWidget Center software allows users to manage display settings and firmware updates.

Connectivity includes:
• 2x HDMI 2.1
• 1x DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC
• 1x USB Type-C with 15W Power Delivery
• 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A

ASUS also redesigns the stand with a more compact footprint to maximise available desk space.

ROG Strix XG129C 12.3-inch Touchscreen Display

The ROG Strix XG129C is a 12.3-inch IPS touchscreen display designed as a dedicated secondary monitor for gaming, streaming, and system monitoring setups. It rivals the likes of the CORSAIR XENEON EDGE which came out earlier and offer the same functionality but with a larger 14.5-inch display. The ROG Strix XG129C touchscreen display features a 24:9 aspect ratio and 1920x720 resolution, allowing it to fit neatly beneath a primary display.

The monitor supports 10-point touch input for direct interaction with applications, hotkeys, and on-screen controls during gameplay or streaming sessions. ASUS equips the ROG Strix XG129C with 125% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage to better match high-end primary gaming displays. The monitor also includes a one-year AIDA64 Extreme subscription with exclusive ROG SensorPanel interfaces for real-time hardware monitoring.

Additional features include:
• ASUS DisplayWidget Center support
• ASUS Control Panel support
• Built-in adjustable kickstand
• 1/4-inch tripod mounting support

Connectivity options include HDMI 1.2 and dual USB Type-C ports, with one port supporting 20W Power Delivery. ASUS also supports single-cable operation for power, display output, and touch functionality through USB Type-C.
