High-Performance Gaming-Oriented Components

The ROG Chimera G703 gaming notebook packs the overclockable Intel Core i7-7820HK CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. The Intel Core i7-7820HK is professionally overclocked to 4.3GHz out of the box with up to 64GB of DDR4-2800MHz memory installed. The ROG Chimera can also pack up to two PCIe NVMe M.2 drives in RAID 0. Also packs the latest connectivity options including a USB 3.1 Gen2 type-C and Thunderbolt 3. The Chimera also packs an ESS Sabre HiFi headphone DAC for high-definition audio.

Equipped with Equally High-Performance Cooling

To cool down the high-performance hardware, the ROG Chimera also packs high-performance cooling beefing it up to 51mm thick to make room for its advanced cooling engine. It packs four radiators sitting behind exhaust fans on the rear corners expelling heat from the notebook and away from the user. The radiator fins are just 0.1mm thick those offering 7% less air resistance which results to 16% better heat dissipation compared to traditional cooling design. The fan housing also features special channels that keep dust and particles away from the radiators.

RGB Illumination

The ROG Chimera sports RGB lighting with ASUS Aura Sync support. Each key has its own LED and can be individually controlled via the Aura Core software.
