ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced plans to celebrate its 20th anniversary during COMPUTEX 2026 with a dedicated press event, community party, and showcase of upcoming gaming innovations. The event will take place on June 1, 2026, at Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei, Taiwan.
The anniversary celebration will highlight two decades of ROG gaming hardware and ecosystem development, alongside previews of future technologies and special-edition anniversary products. ASUS says the event will be inspired by the “Dare to Innovate” ethos and will bring together media, gamers, enthusiasts, and partners from around the world.
The venue itself holds special significance for the brand. Located in Taipei’s Guanghua commercial district, Syntrend Creative Park has long been associated with Taiwan’s PC enthusiast community. ASUS noted that “it is even possible that the first ROG motherboard was sold in this neighborhood two decades ago,” making the location a fitting place for the anniversary celebration.
The ROG Press Event and Party will run from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. GMT+8 and will feature opening remarks from ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih. The event will also be hosted by gaming actor Ned Luke, best known for his role as Michael De Santa in Grand Theft Auto V. ASUS says the presentation will focus on ROG’s history, its relationship with the gaming community, and its future direction.
ASUS also plans to showcase “ROG Lab,” described as an initiative exploring future gaming possibilities and emerging technologies. The company says the showcase reflects its ongoing efforts to “challenge conventions and explore how emerging technologies shape new experiences for gamers.”
Special-edition anniversary products and hands-on demos are also expected to be part of the showcase, although ASUS has not yet revealed specific products ahead of the event.
