ASUS China has launched the ROG STRIX X870-A GAMING WIFI S (Snow Edition), a refreshed AM5 motherboard that blends high-end Zen 5 support with a distinct “battle-maiden” aesthetic across its silver-white armour, PCB, and oversized character art on the heatsinks. The S-refresh pushes memory, connectivity, and AI features forward while leaning even harder into the Snow series’ anime-style identity.
Beyond the full-coverage white armour, the ROG STRIX X870-A GAMING WIFI S turns even the PCB, DIMM slots, and CPU socket area light-coloured, then layers in a large Snow series heroine illustration. The heroine is the white or the "snow" version of SE7EN, the battle maiden seen paired with Hatsune Miku on the backplate of the Chinese version ROG ASTRAL GeForce RTX 5080 O16G Hatsune Miku Edition graphics card.
Key Features
Higher memory ceilings: ASUS NitroPath tuning and AEMP enable DDR5-8800+ (OC) support (CPU-dependent) across four DIMM slots up to 256 GB.
