Demonstrating their innovation and leading engineering prowess, ASUS capture imagination with the ZEUS. Joining the ranks of the ROG ARES and MARS this medley of LGA 2011 and dual GPUs. The GPUs are considered to be AMD's Tahiti XT are directly wired to the Sandy Bridge-E PCIe 3.0 x16 lanes while NVIDIA do not yet see Sandy Bridge-E as PCIe 3.0 compliant. Each GPU has its own dedicated memory and each draws power from a 6 pin and 8 pin PCIe power connector. Video out is seen to be miniDP + Thunderbolt as well as normal DisplayPort and HDMI.
The CPU is driven by a 10-phase Digi+ VRM power delivery and there are 8x DDR3 memory DIMMs supporting up to 128GB. Other connectors include 12 USB 3.0, 8x on the rear I/O and 4x via internal headers, 8x SATA 6Gbps and an extra 4x SATA 3Gbps from the PCH as well as 8+2 HD audio and gigabit Ethernet.
