ASUSTOR Announces AS4000 NAS Series at CES 2018

ASUSTOR announces the new AS4000 NAS Series to be showcased during the upcoming CES 2018. The new ASUSTOR AS4000 Series features a new and fresh look and a tool-less hard drive mounting mechanism which also supports hot-swappable hard disks. The new mechanism aims to improve installation and reinstallation of hard drives. To complete the new series, it packs a built-in 10Gb Ethernet port for high-speed networking offering consumers the best in class performance and value NAS.

The ASUSTOR AS4000 Series NAS devices are offered in 2-bay and 4-bay models which are the AS4002T and AS4004T respectively. Both models uses a Marvell Armada Dual-Core CPU, built-in 2GB DDR4-2400 memory, 1 x 10GBase-T, 2 x Gigabit LAN, giving you some of the fastest performance speeds on a NAS. As for the software, it will come with the ASUSTOR Data Master (ADM) 3.1 which is an updated beta version currently exclusive to the new models. ADM 3.1 now features SSD Caching, RAID scrubbing, LDAP Clients and other new features. Older generation currently models use ADM 3.0.
