Audio-Technica launches the ATH-M50xSTS-USB MIKU, a limited-edition streaming headset created in collaboration with the globally renowned virtual singer Hatsune Miku. This release follows the success of the AT2020USB-X MIKU condenser microphone launched two years ago, marking the second collaboration model between Audio-Technica and the Vocaloid icon.
The headset retains all the professional-grade performance of the ATH-M50xSTS-USB, a model designed specifically for streamers and content creators, while introducing a unique Miku-inspired design. The packaging features a newly illustrated main visual by popular illustrator LAM, ensuring that every detail reflects the spirit of Hatsune Miku.
Design Highlights of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xSTS-USB MIKU
• Miku Colours: Signature teal accents appear on the headset’s metal ring, arm, and side parts.
• Pink Line: A striking pink accent line, inspired by Miku’s iconic hair accessories.
• Unique Left/Right Styling: Each side features a different design to add an element of surprise.
• Custom Icons & Logos: Specially crafted hand-drawn logos and Miku-inspired motifs are embedded throughout.
The Surge of Hatsune Miku Collaborations
This launch comes in a month filled with Hatsune Miku collaborations across the tech and gaming industries. Last month, ASUS launched their full Hatsune Miku gaming ecosystem under the ROG and TUF Gaming sub-brands. Then Elgato unveiled their Elgato × Hatsune Miku Streaming Collection, , although it notably did not include a dedicated streaming headset. In this context, the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xSTS-USB MIKU arrives as the ideal audiophile-grade option for Miku fans, particularly those seeking an upgrade from the TUF Gaming H1 Gen II Hatsune Miku Edition headset.
