First seen at GAMESCOM 2024, the Light Base series consists of Light Base 900 FX, Light Base 900 DX, Light Base 600 LX and Light Base 600 DX, with each model offering fully windowed front and side panels. Switching between regular, inverted or horizontal layouts is a matter of seconds thanks to a breathtakingly easy inversion method, and the massive ARGB strip that spans around the case provides impressive illumination.
Next-level versatility and usability
The Light Base series offers a fully windowed panoramic design for an eye-catching view of your system. Each model offers the three different orientations: regular (right side), inverted (left side), or horizontal (desktop style) and inverting between these orientations is a matter of seconds, thanks to the unique and easily removeable feet.
To make the inside of the system look good, Light Base offers clever features such as a subtle VGA holder that works in every orientation, two ARGB/fan hubs with 12 connectors in total, support for 1x 3.5” drive and 2x 2.5” drives out of the box, user-friendly and cleanable dust filters, and a motherboard tray that fully supports all hidden connector motherboard designs on the market (ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, Gigabyte Project Stealth). The state-of-the-art I/O panel includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, a reset button, and an ARGB controller button. The cases offer impressive illumination, thanks to a massive ARGB strip that wraps around the case and supports different lighting effects.
Large dimensions for endless creativity
Light Base 900 FX is the top model of the series, offering a detachable radiator and fan brackets at the top and bottom with full support for radiators up to 420 mm. On top of that, another radiator with up to 360 mm length can be installed on the side. One regular Light Wings 140mm PWM (rear exhaust) and three reverse-blade Light Wings 140mm PWM fans (side-mounted) are pre-installed to provide impressive cooling capacity and illumination options. Light Base 900 FX supports motherboards up to E-ATX or XL-ATX format. For those who prefer to bring their own fans, Light Base 900 DX offers all the same features as Light Base 900 FX, but it comes without pre-installed fans.
A new level of convenience
If you’re looking for something smaller, with motherboard support up to ATX format, Light Base 600 LX has got you covered. The top and bottom of the case support radiators up to 360 mm and there is space for an additional 240 mm radiator in the side. For cooling and lighting effects, Light Base 600 LX uses be quiet!’s brand-new Light Wings LX 120mm PWM fans: one regular fan is mounted as rear exhaust and three reverse-blade fans are pre-installed in the side. Want to bring your own fans or install several radiators? Light Base 600 DX is identical to Light Base 600 FX but comes without the fans.
