BenQ has announced the latest addition to its Creative Pro monitor portfolio with the introduction of the PD2732U, a 27-inch 4K display designed for creative professionals who require colour accuracy across a wide range of workflows. The new monitor targets graphic designers, photographers, video editors, content creators, and professionals working in print and packaging production.
Positioned as a trusted reference display, the BenQ PD2732U Creative Pro monitor combines wide colour gamut coverage, factory calibration, display uniformity technologies, and workflow-oriented features including Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and Mac compatibility. BenQ says the monitor is engineered to provide consistent colour reproduction from on-screen creation to final output.
Key Features
Thunderbolt 4 connectivity: Supports single-cable video, data, and power delivery for streamlined workstation setups.
Smart KVM and daisy chain support: Enables users to control multiple systems and expand multi-monitor workspaces more efficiently.
AQCOLOR Pilot and Display ColorTalk: Support calibration management and multi-display color matching for more consistent color workflows.
Mac-ready compatibility: M-book Mode eliminates differences between Mac displays and the monitor, iDevice Color Sync allows for accurate previews of iPhone and iPad content, and iKeyboard Control enables brightness and volume adjustments directly from Mac keyboards.
Wireless Hotkey Puck: Provides quick access to color modes, display settings, and frequently used functions for more efficient workflow control.
Designed for Multi-Discipline Creative Workflows
The BenQ PD2732U is equipped with a 27-inch 4K UHD panel offering 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 100% sRGB colour space coverage, allowing creators to work across digital, video, and print media from a single display. The wide Adobe RGB coverage is particularly suited to photography, publishing, packaging, and CMYK-based production environments.
Each monitor is factory calibrated and shipped with a calibration report, achieving an average Delta E value of less than 2. BenQ has also integrated its M-book Mode to minimise colour discrepancies between Mac devices and the monitor, alongside iDevice Colour Sync support for more accurate previews of content created for Apple devices.
AQCOLOR Technology and Colour Consistency
At the core of the BenQ PD2732U is BenQ's AQCOLOR technology, which focuses on colour accuracy, consistency, and panel uniformity. The display employs advanced calibration and corner-to-corner uniformity correction to minimise brightness and colour variation across the screen surface, helping professionals maintain greater confidence in colour-critical work.
BenQ will also introduce its AQCOLOR Pilot software in early August, providing users with calibration management tools designed to maintain long-term colour accuracy. Display ColorTalk support enables colour matching across multiple displays for more consistent multi-monitor workflows.
Professional Certifications and Workflow Features
The BenQ PD2732U carries both Calman Verified and Pantone Validated certifications, including Pantone SkinTone Validation, ensuring compliance with recognised industry colour standards.
