BIOSTAR introduces its second AMD X570 motherboard following the BIOSTAR RACING X570GT8 – the BIOSTAR RACING X570GT micro-ATX motherboard. The BIOSTAR RACING X570GT is one of the few AMD X570 motherboards to sport the compact micro-ATX form-factor along with the ASRock X570M Pro4 motherboard. Since the first-generation Ryzen processors, it is rare for popular motherboard brands to release a micro-ATX form-factor motherboard for the high-end X370 and X470 chipsets. There were only ATX and mini-ITX motherboards for the X370 and X470 chipsets back then. Micro-ATX builders would be pleased with the existence of these micro-ATX X570 motherboards today offering a good balance of features and size such as having four DIMM slots like ATX motherboards and support for up to 128GB of DDR4 memory, a feature that’s currently unavailable with mini-ITX offerings.
