BIOSTAR announces its latest mining motherboard - the BIOSTAR TZ590-BTC. Like most of BIOSTAR’s mining motherboards, the TZ590-BTC is littered with PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for mining GPUs. While the BIOSTAR markets the motherboard is also ideal for gaming and content creators, its lacklustre set of features for such applications would limit buyers to using it for mining alone. The motherboard features include having only one PCIe 4.0-enabled M.2 slot, a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (only with 11th gen Intel CPU), no USB-C port, and 1 GbE LAN port that would make it on par with an entry-level motherboard. Nevertheless, this mining motherboard is ideal for mining systems powered by the 10th or 11th generation Intel Core processors.

The BIOSTAR TZ590-BTC mining motherboard has four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 128GB memory capacity, up to DDR4-3600 memory frequency. The motherboard also features an 11-phase power design and comprehensive rear I/O that includes an HDMI port, VGA port, PS2 port, and USB ports for peripherals and video output. While the motherboard appears to have three M.2 slots, the motherboard's specifications list only says support for 1x M.2 socket.

The BIOSTAR TZ590-BTC has 8x PCIe 3.0 x1 Slots, ideal for BITCOIN and ETHEREUM mining, as well as a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a graphics card or expansion cards.

BIOSTAR did not mention pricing for the TZ590-BTC Mining Motherboard. To learn more, please visit BIOSTAR.
