The NVIDIA RTX 40 Series graphics cards, including the custom PCB models from AIB partners, use the new 12VHPWR connectors. Cablemod, a company known for making PC building accessories, launches the CableMod 12VHPWR Right Angle Adapter that aims to provide tidier cable management with the 12VHPWR cables. The right-angle adapter works best on traditional graphics card mounting.
The Cablemod 12VHPWR Right Angle Adapter protrudes 23.2mm from the graphics card which will be shorter than plugging the adapter that comes with the graphics card. This would also mean the 12VHPWR cable could freely hang down without bending and reduce wire and thermal stress from tight bending radii.
Key Features
Slim Profile
The Cablemod 12VHPWR Right Angle Adapter only protrudes 23.2mm from your graphics card, which means increased space and more clearance between your GPU and your side panel. This enables the installation of super wide cards in more narrow chassis.
Zero Bending
Unlike 90-degree cable connectors, our adapter utilizes a multi-PCB design to achieve a right-angle connection. No wire bending ensures full contact with all cable terminals, and zero risk of thermal issues through an excessive wire and terminal stress from tight bending radii.
Two Configurations
The CableMod 12VHPWR Right Angle Adapter comes in two configurations, ensuring a solution for graphics cards no matter which 12VHPWR power port orientation they have.
Pre-Sale
The CableMod 12VHPWR Right Angle Adapter is scheduled for pre-sale on October 31st. Pricing info has not been released as of this writing. For more information, please visit the Cablemod website.
