COLORFUL Technology proudly announces the CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN motherboard for the 14th Gen, 13th Gen, and 12th Gen Intel Core processors. The CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN motherboard was first launched in China back in May, the brand decided to announce its global launch today. The motherboard supports DDR5 memory and has four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for high-speed NVMe SSDs.
The design of the CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN is inspired by the powerful CVN-class battleships. The motherboard features a titanium grey colour from the heat sinks to the PCB finish. The motherboard features a 14+1+1 digital power phase design with 90A high-spec DrMOS VRMs with tantalum polymer capacitors to support high-end Intel Core i9 processors with ease.
The CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN motherboard has a 2.5 GbE ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3. The motherboard has a single PCIe 5.0 X16 slot that’s backwards compatible with PCIe 4.0 devices such as the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards. There’s also a bottom PCIe 4.0x4 slot for add-in devices such as RAID controllers, capture cards, and others.

Alloy Reinforced Memory Slots
CVN 790D5 ARK FROZEN features alloy-reinforced memory slots for aesthetics and durability. Furthermore, the 8-layer PCB and thickened gold-plated contact ensure stable and fast data transmission allowing the motherboard to support higher memory overclocks of up to DDR5-7800MHz. The motherboard supports 48GB memory modules, supporting a total memory capacity of 192 GB.
Extensive Connectivity with 30W PD Fast Charging
The CVN 790D5 ARK FROZEN motherboard sports plenty of connectivity options on its rear I/O including 4x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, and 1x USB 3.2 Gen2x2 type-C port. The front panel I/O header features USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C that supports 30W PD fast charging.
