Leaked information from Chinese sources suggests that COLORFUL Technology is preparing to introduce a new flagship AMD X870E motherboard under its premium iGame lineup. The motherboard, believed to be called the iGame X870E VULCAN OC, has appeared across official product listings and regional media coverage, pointing to an imminent launch.
While COLORFUL has yet to formally confirm pricing or availability, the presence of official documentation and marketing materials indicates that the iGame X870E VULCAN OC is in the final stages of preparation. Positioned as a high end solution for enthusiasts and overclockers, the board is expected to sit at the top of COLORFULs AM5 motherboard stack.
Leaked highlights of the iGame X870E VULCAN OC include:
AMD X870E chipset with AM5 socket support for Ryzen 7000, 8000, 9000 and upcoming Zen 5 processors
High end power delivery featuring an 18+2+2 phase VRM design with dual 8 pin CPU power connectors
Two DIMM DDR5 memory layout optimised for extreme overclocking, with Chinese sources claiming support beyond DDR5 10000

Having initially focused on mainstream offerings, the company now appears to be preparing a true flagship X870E model aimed at enthusiasts and high end PC builders, positioning COLORFUL to compete more directly in the elite motherboard segment.
At the time of writing, no official retail pricing or launch date has been disclosed, and the iGame X870E VULCAN OC motherboard has not yet appeared on major Chinese retail platforms.
