We are at COMPUTEX 2026 and today we stopped by the ARCTIC booth to check out the company's latest cooling innovations and upcoming products. On display was a broad range of cooling solutions for PC builders, headlined by the new Xtender Mini chassis – a compact micro-ATX version of the panoramic Xtender case – alongside new CPU coolers, RGB fans, and fan control technologies.

Among the key highlights was the new Freezer 61 Series, ARCTIC's latest flagship air cooler and the largest CPU cooler in the company's lineup to date. Designed for enthusiasts seeking high-end air-cooling performance, the Freezer 61 Series was joined by the compact Freezer 36-S cooler, the new BioniX A-RGB Series fans, and ARCTIC's Smart Fan Control Solution, showcasing the brand's continued focus on cooling performance, ease of use, and system customisation.

The new Freezer 61 Series is one of the main attractions at the ARCTIC booth, available in both standard and A-RGB variants. As ARCTIC's largest CPU air cooler to date, the Freezer 61 features a massive dual-tower heatsink with six copper heatpipes and a dual-fan configuration consisting of a 140mm P14 Pro Reverse fan and a high-performance P12 Pro fan. The A-RGB model adds integrated lighting for builders looking to complement modern gaming systems.

Designed for flagship AMD and Intel processors, the Freezer 61 targets enthusiasts who prefer the reliability and simplicity of air cooling over liquid cooling solutions. The cooler comes bundled with ARCTIC's MX-7 thermal compound, supports the latest AMD AM5 and Intel LGA1851 platforms, and is backed by a six-year warranty.

ARCTIC Freezer 36-S

ARCTIC also showcased the new Freezer 36-S, a compact single-tower air cooler engineered for improved compatibility in space-constrained builds. With a slim 88mm thickness, the cooler is designed to minimise interference with memory modules and motherboard components while remaining suitable for a wide range of desktop systems.

Despite its compact footprint, the Freezer 36-S packs four direct-touch copper heatpipes, a dense aluminium fin stack, and a P12 Pro 120mm fan capable of reaching up to 3000 RPM. Supporting AMD AM5/AM4 and Intel LGA1851/LGA1700 sockets, the cooler offers a balance of performance, compatibility, and value, complete with MX-7 thermal paste and a six-year warranty.

ARCTIC BioniX P12 A-RGB and BioniX P14 A-RGB

ARCTIC also showcased the new BioniX P12 A-RGB and BioniX P14 A-RGB cooling fans, designed for builders looking to combine high airflow performance with vibrant RGB lighting. Available in black and white colour options, the fans feature PWM control and daisy-chain connectivity, allowing multiple fans and RGB devices to be linked together using fewer cables for a cleaner and more streamlined installation. Both models feature 16 A-RGB LEDs integrated into the fan hub and outer frame, creating multiple illumination zones for enhanced lighting effects.

ARCTIC Xtender Mini Chassis

ARCTIC also exhibited its upcoming Xtender Mini chassis, a more compact micro-ATX version of the ARCTIC Xtender that retains the series' panoramic showcase design. The chassis features tempered glass panels on the front, side, and top, providing an unobstructed view of the system's hardware while maintaining the clean, modern aesthetic that made the original Xtender stand out. Despite its smaller footprint, the Xtender Mini supports Micro-ATX motherboards, graphics cards up to 402mm in length, and CPU air coolers up to 165mm tall.

The ARCTIC Xtender Mini also offers ample cooling support, accommodating up to seven 120mm fans with mounting positions for three bottom fans, one rear fan, and either three side-mounted fans or a 360mm radiator. While ARCTIC has yet to reveal additional details or available variants, we expect the Xtender Mini to follow the current Xtender lineup with multiple tempered glass options, including Clear, Dark, and Mirror finishes.

ARCTIC Smart Fan Control Solution

ARCTIC also demonstrated its upcoming Smart Fan Control Solution, designed to simplify fan management for modern PC builds. The solution addresses several common issues faced by PC builders, including the need to repeatedly enter the BIOS to adjust fan speeds, unreliable third-party fan control software, limited motherboard fan headers, and the challenges of managing multiple daisy-chained fans with different performance characteristics.

With Smart Fan Control, ARCTIC aims to provide more intelligent and flexible fan management, allowing users to optimise cooling performance without relying solely on motherboard controls. The solution is particularly geared towards systems with multiple fans, where balancing airflow, noise levels, and fan compatibility can become increasingly difficult using conventional fan control methods.
