CORSAIR announces its partnership with Ubisoft to bring custom PC and peripheral lighting integration to Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5. Far Cry 5 sets in America offerings gamers liberty to navigate in a fictional Hope County, Montana. Play as a junior deputy and join the locals to take on fanatical cult by whatever means possible. With CORSAIR peripherals, gamers will experience Far Cry 5 in a new level of immersion via the CORSAIR RGB products offering more than 35 in-game lighting integrations. Exploring the world of Far Cry 5 and doing actions like fighting, getting spotted by enemies, fishing, and other activities will activate some of the CORSAIR lighting integrations.
This is the first for the Far Cry franchise to partner with a world-renowned peripheral maker like CORSAIR. Working with Ubisoft is a key milestone for CORSAIR a well, CORSAIR’s founder and CEO explains. Hence, we could expect there will be more to come from this strategic partnership and perhaps have other Ubisoft’s games to include CORSAIR-exclusive in-game action lighting integrations.
Availability of In-Game Integrations
Compatible initially with CORSAIR RGB keyboards, mice, headsets, fans and case lighting, the first release of the new unified CORSAIR software will be available on March 27th, alongside the launch of Far Cry 5. Subsequent releases will add support for additional products from the CORSAIR portfolio.
Additionally, CORSAIR will be bundling copies of Far Cry 5 with select CORSAIR RGB product purchases from the CORSAIR webstore of more than $150 between March 23rd and April 30th.
