Earlier this month we reviewed the Corsair M65 PRO RGB FPS mouse, an exemplary gaming peripheral that features Corsair's premium 12,000 DPI optical sensor and synergises with other devices in their RGB range. On the strength of excellent build quality and high levels of comfort we awarded it our Gold Award, and just generally found it to be a worthy successor to the original Vengeance M65 mouse of 2013 vintage.

One advantage that the original has over the new model however is the range of chassis colours you could find. Not restricted to just black, the mouse was also available in Arctic White and Military Green; something of a compensation at the time for the lack of customisable RGB lighting. Thankfully Corsair are taking lessons from the past with the release of a new White model of the M65 PRO RGB.



The new model replaces the top arch of the housing with a white gloss-finished plastic. As a result the feel of the mouse on your fingers will be slightly different as it will no longer have the soft textured finish common to Corsair mouse range. That, however, is the only change to the design; the high DPI sensor, 'sniper' thumb button and aluminium skeleton continue to the hallmarks of the mouse.
