COUGAR has officially launched the FRZ 612 ARGB, a high-performance dual-tower CPU air cooler that was first unveiled during COMPUTEX 2026. Designed for enthusiasts and gamers, the new cooler combines a robust six-heat-pipe design, dual ARGB fans, and an integrated digital temperature display to deliver efficient thermal performance with a modern aesthetic.
Built to handle today's high-performance desktop processors, the COUGAR FRZ 612 ARGB supports the latest AMD and Intel platforms while offering a cooling capacity of up to 260W TDP. Alongside its high-capacity cooling, the cooler features vibrant ARGB lighting across both the fans and top cover, making it an ideal choice for users looking to balance performance with visual appeal.
Dual-Tower Design with Six Heat Pipes
The COUGAR FRZ 612 ARGB features a dual-tower heatsink paired with six 6mm copper heat pipes that rapidly transfer heat away from the processor for efficient cooling under demanding workloads. COUGAR also employs a precision reflow-soldered base to reduce thermal resistance between the heat pipes and the contact plate, improving heat transfer efficiency and enabling the cooler to dissipate up to 260W of thermal output.
Optimised Cooling with ARGB Lighting
Cooling is provided by two fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) fans featuring an annular blade design that connects the outer edges of the fan blades with a stabilising ring. This construction minimises blade flex to improve airflow efficiency while reducing operating noise. Complementing the cooling performance are addressable RGB fans and an integrated ARGB light strip on the top cover, providing vibrant illumination and synchronised lighting effects for modern gaming builds.
Integrated Digital Temperature Display
A built-in digital display provides real-time CPU temperature monitoring, allowing users to check processor temperatures at a glance without relying solely on software monitoring utilities. The display is enabled through COUGAR Digital Software, which also supports displaying CPU or GPU temperature information.
Broad Platform Compatibility
The COUGAR FRZ 612 ARGB is compatible with a wide range of modern desktop platforms, including AMD AM5 and AM4 sockets, as well as Intel LGA 1851, LGA 1700, LGA 1200, and LGA 115X processors.
