Cooling specialists CRYORIG impressed us earlier this year with their flagship CPU HSF - the twin-tower R1 Ultimate - and no surprise given how good it looks and how well it performs. Now CRYORIG have let us know that they're readying a new cooler which takes things down a notch... in size that is.
The new C1 ITX is, as you can probably guess, designed for the cramped confines of an ITX system and will be the first in a new line of the top-down coolers designated as the C-series. It's still currently in the late testing phase, but already CRYORIG can reveal that it will utilise a 140mm fan which, given the air flow direction, should provide more than adequate cooling for not only the CPU but also surrounding motherboard components. By using a 140mm fan the system as a whole should also be a fair bit quieter than similar designs using 120mm or even 92mm models.

CRYORIG's C-series will be broadened further in the future with models designed for both ITX and mATX chassis. They're targeting a May 2014 release for this C1 ITX, and there is currently no pricing information available.
