After a relatively quiet period while the market collectively took stock of the changing landscape of the consumer PC market, cooling specialists DeepCool have returned to unveil a new CPU cooler design with wide compatibility and great heat dissipation potential in a familiar fundamental style.

The DeepCool AK400 Performance is a new CPU tower heatsink+fan package for mid-tower and select mini-ITX LGA1700 and AM4 desktop systems, offering heat dissipation power of up to 220W in a compact and efficient design. It leverages the potential of four direct touch copper heat pipes to quickly transfer heat away from the processor, dissipating it through a dense matrix fin array heat sink for effective cooling performance.

Thanks to the high-performance fluid dynamic bearing fan, the AK400 achieves high-performance cooling with minimal noise levels at <29 dBA full load noise output. The FDB fan maximizes airflow and static pressure when needed, 'intelligently' ramping down for silent efficiency.

DeepCool are also conscious of the need for pleasing aesthetics on modern cooling solutions. The AK400 Performance has a single compact fin stack and matrix shaped fin array that offers a striking look for systems with transparent windowed cases.

The compact size allows full compatibility with other components and fits in a wide variety of cases at 155mm tall. With a removable top cover, it supports some ITX cases at 153mm tall. Also, 45mm fin width supports 100% RAM clearance. An improved installation method over prior generations is easy due to a sturdy all-metal mounting bracket and a quick five-step process to safely fasten your cooler on multiple platforms supporting the latest from Intel and AMD.

Compatible Sockets

Intel: LGA1700/1200/1151/1150/1155
AMD: AM4
