A lot of new information has been revealed about Windows 10 which looks to be an interesting upgrade. However, one thing missing from the announcements were the availability of DirectX 12. Thanks to Rock, Paper, Shotgun we now know that DX12 will be a Windows 10 exclusive.


While this may leave a sour taste in the mouths of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 users, those who really want to take advantage of DX12 and all it offers only have to spend $0 to upgrade to Windows 10. Just think of it this way. You'll likely have to get a new GPU, one that is DX12 ready and the money you saved on the OS can be put towards that instead.
