Easter Savings - Corsair Cut Peripheral Pricing By No Small Margin

We've had the pleasure of putting a number of Corsair's Gaming peripherals through their paces over the last few years and almost without exception they've impressed us with high build quality and a swath of built-in features. Even more so however their kit has been solid value for money, shaping up extremely well against the competition when certain other brands would charge a premium for their name along. And so it was a surprise to hear that the MSRP for a wide range of top-notch peripherals is being revised downward. Downward, by a very significant margin.

The MSRP adjustment currently encompasses both headsets and mice, with the size of the price reduction depending on SKU. Plus, Corsair haven't just reduced their budget-oriented designs; in the case of the mice especially there is something for every budget and any need.

Two examples are the Corsair Gaming M65 RGB, and Corsair Vengeance M65 (which was launched before the Corsair Gaming branding came into effect). Both netted our Gold Awards when they were released, with Tony rating both aesthetics and performance highly in his November review of the M65 RGB. Recently hitting £52.99, the M65 RGB now has an MSRP below £45, whilst the vanilla M65 is a steal for £37.49.

Another highlight is the Corsair Gaming Sabre RGB Optical gaming mouse, released with the lineup refresh last year that integrated RGB lighting into many of Corsair's peripheral designs. Tailored to those who appreciate the subtle difference in dynamics of an optical sensor over laser ones, the MSRP is now as low as £31.66.

We'd also be remiss not to mention the Corsair Gaming H2100 Dolby 7.1 wireless headset. Under the old Vengeance branding it netted both Value and Gold awards, despite being both wireless (of which there are many poor designs floating around) and priced at the time well north of £100. Now the MSRP of this headset has plunged to only £76.66, surely making it one of the most competitive headsets on the planet right now.

A full list of all MSRP savings can be found below. We hope that retailers update their pricing as soon as possible to reflect the new MSRP, and pass on these saving to consumers. If you're looking for a peripheral upgrade this Easter it's difficult to believe that you could do better.
