EGX London is back for 2022. Gamer Network, ReedPOP and Virgin Media O2 will once again be holding the UK's largest convention celebrating all things gaming this September, returning to the capacious ExCeL London. The schedule and exhibitor list will be filled out over the coming months, likely following announcements in June and August, with the hope that the event will be back at full strength.

It's been a turbulent couple of years for in-person conventions across the world. The coronavirus pandemic and associated restrictions effectively crippled their ability to put on events, first through travel regulations than then through the natural wariness of potential attendees and exhibitors. EGX 2021 went ahead last year, but it laboured under the shadow of new coronavirus variants and patchy vaccine uptake among the core 18-30 demographic.

At EGX London you'll be able to play some of the biggest releases before they're even available to the general public, get advanced previous of upcoming hardware and software, and engage with panels discussing videogame development. In recent years EGX London also expanded to include retro game zones and the pen & paper arena, tapping into the resurgence of tabletop gaming.

Tickets are on sale today priced from £15, with Virgin Media and O2 customers also having the option of 50% off Early Bird tickets that allow morning entry prior to general admission (while stocks last). Group bookings are also available, and kids under 10 get in free. Find out more at https://www.egx.net/london/en-gb/tickets.html.

The event runs for 4 days from Thursday September 22nd to Sunday September 25th. More information, with updates when they become available, can be found at EGX.net and via the EGX Twitter Stream.
