EK Presents Quantum X Uniblock Prototype – The Future of Custom Liquid Cooling

EK (EK Water Blocks) presented a two-part video presenting the Quantum Uniblock Project. The uniblock is an all-in-one waterblock solution that provides liquid cooling coverage to all the heat-producing components in the motherboard and components installed on the motherboard. The uniblock includes coverage to the processor, VRM, chipset, M.2 slots, and graphics card. The uniblock also provides cooling to the memory, the memory installed must be using EK’s compatible proprietary memory heatsinks. The uniblock has an integrated reservoir and pump. The only missing component to complete a custom liquid cooling system is the radiator.

The EK Quantum Uniblock prototype is the first of its kind. The design and layout of the uniblock are dependent on the motherboard model and layout as well as the graphics card model. With that in mind, a specific uniblock would only be compatible with a particular motherboard(s), assuming having a similar PCB layout, and graphics card. Watch EK’s two-part videos below.

EK is yet to demonstrate the performance of the uniblock on the next video and how to order. For more information about EK, please visit EKWB.com
