The full-cover water block offers direct cooling too all critical components of the graphics card including the GPU, RAM and VRMs. The superior cooling to these components allow users to attain higher overclocks and run higher boost clocks for improved performance in gaming and other GPU intensive applications. The water block also works flawlessly with reserved water flow and will not affect the cooling performance of the water block. Also, the water block is designed to also handle water cooling systems with weaker pumps and yield efficient cooling performance.



The EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix comes in two variants – the Nickel and Acetal+Nickel water blocks. The base of the water block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper. Top can either be acrylic material for the Nickel variants or POM Acetal material for Acetal+Nickel variant. The acrylic top features two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes for illumination. Note that there are no performance difference between the two variants.
