Elgato, a CORSAIR brand, today unveiled Prompter XL, a studio-sized teleprompter for content production. With a 15.6" display over 250% larger than the original, Prompter XL keeps text readable up to 15 ft (4.6 meters). An expanded build supports the large cameras and long lenses that pros actually use, while remaining simple to adjust. It comes with Camera Hub, free teleprompting software for everything from managing scripts to smart voice scrolling. Between shoots, Prompter XL doubles as an extra monitor, perfect for presenting and video conferencing with a proper view.
A Display Built for Distance
The Elgato Prompter XL features a bright 15.6-inch Full HD display, 50% brighter than the original model at 600 nits, ensuring clear readability even under strong studio lighting. It connects via a single USB 3.2 cable for both power and video, reducing cable clutter, while its magnetic mount allows quick removal for transport or cleaning. The screen can also double as a secondary monitor, with a new power button for easy control.
Fits Professional Camera Setups
Built to handle professional gear, the Elgato Prompter XL supports cameras up to 5 kg and accommodates a wide range of lenses with adjustable mounting and multiple backplates. It includes three universal mounting points and a cold shoe rail for accessories such as mics or lights. For added flexibility, users can 3D-print custom backplates via Elgato Marketplace, while a compatibility list helps verify supported camera and lens models.
Camera Hub Included
Bundled with Elgato’s Camera Hub software, the Elgato Prompter XL offers integrated teleprompting with text editing, styling, and automatic Voice Sync* to match the speaker’s pace. It can also function as a second display for presentations or meetings, letting users maintain eye contact while viewing notes or slides—perfect for professional studios and content creators alike.
