EVGA in an overclocking stint with the GTX 680 have managed to achieve a core speed of 1842MHz stable with just 1.212V and scored 14912 points in 3dMark 11 in the performance setting. While the MSI lightning scored higher with a lower clocked CPU and GPU, there seems to be a lot of left to play with before giving up. The system setup used a Core i7-3960X CPU at 5.5GHz, memory was 2400 MHz CL 10-11-11-31. A little more effort will be needed to beat the MSI HD 7970 Lightning's score of P15035.
