EVGA expands its NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti series line up with the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 HYBRID with iCX Technology which features the combination of cooling power from the award-winning HYBRID solution liquid cooling and the EVGA iCX Technology with its total of 11 global patents. The iCX Technology is an interactive cooling design wherein users acquire better monitoring, enhancements and tweaking properties for the EVGA graphics card. With this technology, monitoring and tweaking is not just available for the graphics processor unit (GPU), but also to the memory and more critical areas in the card are monitored wherein cooling performance can also be adjusted accordingly.

On top of the feature-packed EVGA iCX Technology, the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 HYBRID gets the superior cooling performance of a liquid cooling system. Now, the HYBRID cooling system doesn’t only have a cooling plate for the GPU, EVGA upgraded the HYBRID cooling and added a cooling plate for the memory as well. With this, coolant directly cools the GPU and memory as liquid flows over these critical areas. As for the VRMs, these are cooled with a heat sink and fan module. Together, the new HYBRID cooling engine offers better heat dissipation for lower temperatures and higher overclocking headroom.
