EVGA presents the ROBOCLOCKER closed-loop liquid nitrogen cooling machine developed by Vince "KINGPIN" Lucido and Illya "TiN" Tsemenko. The liquid nitrogen machine was built to offer overclockers easy access to professional-grade overclocking equipment that delivers extreme cooling for record-breaking overclocked setups. The ROBOCLOCKER along with EVGA hardware was able to set new world records, particularly in 3DMark.
Extreme Cooling with ROBOCLOCKER
The record-breaking attempt uses the EVGA X299 DARK motherboard with an Intel i9-7980XE Extreme Edition processor overclocked to 5.7GHz at -95° Celsius and an NVIDIA TITAN V overclocked to 2300MHz at 80° Celsius, all of which are cooled by the ROBOCLOCKER. This setup was able to achieve the following benchmark scores:
3DMARK Fire Strike: 36,551 Marks
3DMARK Fire Strike Extreme: 20,336 Marks
3DMARK Fire Strike Ultra: 10,527 Marks
3DMARK Time Spy: 17,413 Marks
3DMARK Time Spy Extreme: 9,068 Marks
With the ROBOCLOCKER, the overclocked system was able to break five single-GPU graphics benchmark world records. The ROBOCLOCKER is designed to be compact and an easier approach to extreme cooling with liquid nitrogen compare to using the traditional mounted-pot solutions. The ROBOCLOCKER also uses much less LN2 compared to the traditional method.
The ROBOCLOCKER is currently being demonstrated at the COMPUTEX 2018 convention.
