CORSAIR today announced a strategic retail partnership with Micro Center, establishing the electronics retailer as Fanatec’s flagship retail destination in the United States.
This partnership marks the first time that Fanatec customers will be able to purchase and experience Fanatec products locally in-store, including the acclaimed ClubSport GT Cockpit, giving sim racers the opportunity to access high-performance gear without waiting for online shipping.
To further enhance the in-store experience, demo rigs will be available at select Micro Center locations, starting in Phoenix and expanding to additional states soon. Micro Center is one of the only retail partners worldwide to host these in-store demonstration rigs, allowing customers to experience the full immersion and precision of Fanatec hardware before purchasing.
“This partnership with Micro Center is an important step in our efforts to offer broader availability for Fanatec products at retail,” said Geoff Lyon, SVP & GM, Components and Fanatec, CORSAIR. “Micro Center’s reputation as a trusted technology and sim racing hardware retailer, combined with their commitment to providing hands-on customer experiences, makes them the perfect partner to showcase our products.”
“Our customers are passionate experts, and the sim racing community has been one of the most dedicated and vocal groups we serve,” said Brad Kramer, Micro Center COO and CFO. “Fanatec is the leader in performance sim racing hardware and we’re incredibly excited to bring this world-class hardware into our stores.”
As part of the collaboration, Fanatec is working with Indy 500 champion Tony Kanaan on a joint build and race content project. The Fanatec demo experience at Micro Center Phoenix is now available, with further retail rollouts planned across multiple states in the coming months.
