FiiO has officially launched the DM15 Portable Stereo CD Player, combining dual AKM AK4493S DACs, aptX Lossless Bluetooth and Hi-Fi USB DAC functionality in a compact portable design. Building on the DM13, the DM15 combines CD playback, high-resolution digital audio, Bluetooth transmission and digital transport functionality in a slimmer chassis.
The FiiO DM15 measures 144 × 137 × 25.5mm and weighs 471.5g. Its 4700mAh battery provides around six hours of CD playback, while Desktop Mode bypasses the battery for stationary use. The 4.4mm balanced output delivers up to 1100mW + 1100mW into 32Ω in Desktop Mode.
Dual AK4493S DACs
The FiiO DM15 uses two AKM AK4493S DAC chips based on VELVET SOUND technology, delivering low distortion, wide dynamic range and a warm, natural presentation. The audio platform also includes two SGM8262 amplifier chips and an SPV5048 USB controller.
High-Resolution USB DAC
Beyond CD playback, the FiiO DM15 functions as a Hi-Fi USB DAC supporting up to 384kHz/32-bit PCM and native DSD256. It can also operate as a USB/CD digital transport and supports CD ripping directly to WAV files on compatible FAT32 storage.
aptX Lossless Bluetooth
A Qualcomm QCC3086 Bluetooth 5.4 chip provides aptX Lossless transmission alongside aptX Adaptive, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency and SBC. This enables CD-quality lossless audio transmission to compatible Bluetooth headphones, speakers and receivers.
Powerful Balanced Output
The FiiO DM15 provides 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs. In Desktop Mode, the balanced output reaches 1100mW + 1100mW into 32Ω, while the single-ended output delivers up to 295mW + 295mW. On battery power, the outputs provide up to 780mW + 780mW balanced and 205mW + 205mW single-ended into 32Ω.
Portable And Desktop Operation
The 4700mAh high-voltage lithium battery provides around six hours of CD playback, while USB-C supports QC3.0, PD2.0 and PD3.0 fast charging. A full charge takes approximately two hours using PD3.0. Desktop Mode bypasses the battery during stationary use, reducing charge-discharge cycles and helping extend battery life.
Custom CD Mechanism And Controls
FiiO has developed a custom CD mechanism featuring a self-rebounding steel-ball design for improved disc alignment and smoother insertion and removal. The player also features mechanical buttons, keys and a volume knob, alongside a 0.96-inch 80 × 160 LCD display and an included infrared remote control.
24 Sound Presets
The FiiO DM15 combines three BASS modes with eight built-in EQ presets to provide 24 sound presets, including a dedicated RETRO profile. The player also supports personalised control settings, including custom functions for the volume knob button.
Connectivity And Digital Transport
The FiiO DM15 combines USB DAC, USB/CD Bluetooth transmission and USB/CD digital transport functionality. Connectivity includes USB-C, 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone and line outputs, plus coaxial and optical digital outputs. The player also supports CD ripping while playing, allowing tracks to be saved as WAV files to compatible FAT32 USB storage.

The FiiO DM15 Portable Stereo CD Player is priced at ¥1,599 RMB in mainland China. The silver version launched first, with black, red and white versions following progressively. FiiO is also offering the DM15 through its official AliExpress store, with overseas shipments being rolled out progressively.
