Manufacturers are now all set in motion to stamp their mark on NVIDIA's latest GPU and now we get to see an offering from Gainward, courtesy of TweakTown. The Gainward GTX 680 Phantom builds on the popular Phantom series and is equipped with the new 'Phantom II' cooler. The new cooler has a redesigned fin array to increase thermal performance and decrease noise as well as being a more robust design. Using 5x 6mm heatpipes and 2x 80mm PWM fans to dissipate heat, it is clear that Gainward have paid attention to reducing the noise levels while delivering performance above reference design. For those who don't care about how it works, the 'elegant' appearance is still the forté.
