NVIDIA has officially released a native GeForce NOW app for Valve’s Steam Deck, bringing high-performance RTX-powered cloud gaming directly to the handheld device. Steam Deck users can now stream games at up to 4K resolution and 60 FPS when connected to a TV, with support for HDR10, NVIDIA DLSS 4, and Reflex technologies in supported titles. Streaming also means longer battery life — up to 50% more — and access to ultra-high settings that the Steam Deck can’t handle on its own.
With the new app, gamers can enjoy graphics-intensive AAA titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Monster Hunter Wilds, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered — all without worrying about hardware limits or overheating.
GeForce NOW gives Steam Deck users access to over 2,200 games across Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft, Battle.net, Xbox, and PC Game Pass, including more than 180 PC Game Pass titles. Whether docked to a TV or played on the go, the app transforms the handheld into a powerful cloud gaming machine with the performance of an RTX 4080.
Alongside the app launch, six new games join the GeForce NOW library this week, including Tokyo Xtreme Racer, a neon-lit street racing game set on Tokyo’s highways. Other new titles include Nice Day for Fishing, Cash Cleaner Simulator, The Last Spell, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, and Torque Drift 2.
