GELID Solutions' ICY VISION after market cooler has supported a wide range of top range AMD Graphics cards for some time, and the new "ICY VISION-A" revision will also support AMD's flagship range of high performance 28nm cards: the HD7950 and HD7970.
The "ICY VISION-A" will only support AMD cards, but will support a wide range of those cards beyond the 7900-series. Reference board versions of the 5850/5870/6850/6870/6950/6970/7850/7870 are also compatible with the new product version.
The ICY VISION-A features 5 heatpipes in a unique 'constellation' layout, solid copper base and aluminium fins. Two 92mm fans, each with 11 S-shaped fins, actively cool the heatsink with 20% higher air flow than standard fans at the same RPM. Also included in the kit are VRM and memory heatsinks for additional cooling to temperature sensitive components.
