GIGABYTE revealed its new addition to its GTX 1080 line-up, the GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WATERFORCE WB 8G graphics card. This graphics card combines Pascal architecture with GIGABYTE's WATERFORCE Water Block cooling system. It features an open-loop liquid cooling full-cover water block that's designed to fit in standard custom liquid cooling setups. The GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WATERFORCE WB 8G features customizable RGB lighting, premium quality components and VR-optimized connectivity.
The GIGABYTE GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming WATERFORCE WB 8G's full-cover water block has a large copper base plate that directly cools the GPU core and cools surrounding critical components of the graphics card as well. The GTX 1080 features a 12+2 power phase and clocked to 1936Mhz in OC mode. The high-performance cooling engine of the GTX 1080 ensures stability even at OC mode.
