GIGABYTE unveils the latest AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY graphics card at CES 2026, showcasing a breakthrough design that combines compact dimensions with a next-generation cooling solution. Featuring the revolutionary WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling System and GIGABYTE’s first separated PCB layout, this latest flagship model redefines airflow performance and form factor footprint for elite gaming setups.
Cooling as the Foundation for Performance
Effective thermal design remains central to extracting maximum GPU performance, and it continues to be a core focus of every GIGABYTE graphics card. Built on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, the GeForce RTX 50 Series introduces major advances for both gamers and creators, driven by a substantial increase in AI processing capability. With NVIDIA DLSS 4 boosting performance, faster AI-powered image generation, and full NVIDIA Studio support, the RTX 50 Series delivers higher visual fidelity and expanded creative potential.
Advanced Airflow with WINDFORCE HYPERBURST
Adopting NVIDIA’s separated PCB layout, the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 AORUS INFINITY pairs the new WINDFORCE HYPERBURST Cooling System with a Double Flow Through design. This configuration allows air to pass efficiently through both sides of the backplate, reducing turbulence and improving heat dissipation. An integrated Overdrive Fan, positioned at the centre of the card, engages during demanding workloads to provide an additional surge of airflow, helping sustain peak gaming performance and maximise RTX AI computing capability.
Distinctive Design with Compact Compatibility
The AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 AORUS INFINITY graphics card features a striking circular aesthetic highlighted by a robust die-cast metal plate, a custom circular heatsink, and GIGABYTE’s signature RGB Halo lighting. This design-led approach is matched with premium build quality and an advanced cooling solution, all while maintaining a relatively compact form factor. Measuring just 33 cm in length and 14.5 cm in height, the card is designed to fit comfortably within a wide range of PC chassis without compromising performance.
Unlike the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z that was announced to be limited to 1,300 units, GIGABYTE did not specify if AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 AORUS INFINITY also has a limited production run. GIGABYTE is yet to reveal pricing and release date. Learn more about the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 AORUS INFINITY (GV-N5090AORUS-IF-32GD) graphics card.
