Google introduces the world’s first laptops built for cloud gaming. The new gaming Chromebooks from Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo feature gaming-grade specifications that meet the requirements for cloud gaming. Today, Google announces three new Chromebooks: Acer Chromebook 516 GE, ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip, and Ideapad Gaming Chromebook from Lenovo. Among the three, the ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip packs superior hardware being equipped with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor and a 15.6-inch 144Hz touchscreen display in a 2-in-1 notebook format.
Optimized for cloud gaming and productivity, the gaming Chromebooks highlight support for NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta), and Amazon Luna. The gaming Chromebooks are likely in the works even before the decision to discontinue Google Stadia. Today, the new gaming Chromebooks are now available in the United States.

Google did not specify if the Gaming Chromebooks will be released to other regions as of this writing. If ever Google does, it will likely be limited to countries that are supported by GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
