Unique Diamond Design

The HP OMEN X gaming desktop has a very unique shape and orientation. The diamond design concept is to improve efficiency of the system's cooling to reduce the instances of lag. With the diamond design, five sides of the OMEN X chassis are exposed. The chassis stands on its edge giving all sides access to cool air to maximize cooling and ventilation.

The OMEN X's diamond design makes use of a tri-chamber approach in the internal of the chassis wherein hardware components are separated into three areas. The first chamber comprises of the motherboard, processor and graphics card(s). The hard drives of the OMEN X are in one chamber as well. The third chamber comprises of the power supply only. These three chambers are separated by internal panels and has its own independent cooling of fans and vents. Compared to the typical chassis with one communal chamber wherein all heat is added up into one chamber, the independent chambers have a more efficient and improved self-cooling system.
