Due for Q1 2012, the inclusion of PCIe 3.0 may be a shock to some while others may have felt exasperated over the wait but with Intel's Thunderbolt technology it makes sense for Intel to keep on top of PCIe standards. (Note the DP connection for the Intel HD Graphics support in slide)

This slide details the Z77, Z75 and H77 platforms

Also detailed are four native USB 3 ports, two SATA 3 (6Gb/s) as well as The Ivy Bridge CPU supporting triple monitor outputs.

Current 1155 Sandybridge CPUs will be compatible with the 7 series motherboards and those whom already own a 6 series motherboard will be pleased to know that Ivy Bridge CPUs are compatible on their existing 1155 board, however a bios update will be needed.
It seems Intel have covered all bases with the next line of platforms with some interesting new features.
