Intel Sandy Bridge-E to Launch in November

The extreme platform supports an array of features specially catered for high performance and enthusiasts is expected to land on the 14th of November according to VR Zone.



The pricing as it stands atm, is $294 for the Core i7 3820 which is a quad core with eight threads and 10MB cache but has a locked multiplier so overclocking will be restricted compared to K series chips. The Core i7 3930K will come in at $593 which is a hexacore with twelve threads and 12MB cache. Finally the Core i7 3960X which is expected to come in at $999. All chips are supported by the X79 platform with the LGA 2011 socket.
